Amir Malekpour vs. Tom Creasey - Mar / 30 / 2024 Decent distance management to start, but allowed creasey to pin him against the cage and tag him. Jumped gilly. Didn't show much effort into getting up off his back at first, kept closed guard and tried to mitigate damage instead. Got to the cage and started playing jiu jitsu and eventually wrestled to his feet. Doesn't seem like he knows how to use the cage to build a base. Doesn't seem like he puts that much thought into the timing of his strikes which makes him pretty vulnerable to counters. However, he can get pretty aggressive and has some good counters of his own. When he gets backed to the cage he gets nervous and starts throwing punches to gain respect but theres no setup and hes easy to counter. he rolls with the punches and eats them well though. His takedown defense seems quite bad, always jumps gilly. Creasey gassed in round 3 and pretty much got beat up the whole round. Both were exhausted by the end though and therefore landing well on eachother. Amir Malekpour vs. Dylan Hazan - Starts the fight with a tit for tat striking affar, dylan shoots and malek defends with a nice sprawl. same thing happens again and malekpour takes him down, lands some shots as dylan gets up. lands a knee and malekpour stands in place throwing crazy like hes max holloway. hurts hazan and submits him with a gilly. Amir Malekpour vs. Florian Doskja Florian is walking him down from the start, malekpour evading well but after a slip he gets hit with a hard left hand that drops him. hes hurt and starts backing to the cage and swinging counter hooks. florian evades everything and malek shoots a takedown and gets it, florian builds to his feet well but malekpour continues to wrestle him. doskja escapes and continues to walk him down, malekpour is swinging counters that dont seem to have the best timing but lands a few. doskja lands some more that hurt malekpour as he backs him to the fence. malekpour was in trouble but shot another takedown. doskja gets to his feet but continues to get walked down and tagged. malekpour seems to be pretty tired already at the end of r1. Although malekpour is getting hit a lot, he always stands his ground and throws counters to try to gain respect. Doskja seems to have a good chin though. in r2 doskja keeps walking him down evading malekpours counters and throwing good overhands and calf kicks. malekpour evades a combo and take him down with a double leg, wins with gnp from mount. Amir Malekpour vs. Alexander Loof - Sep / 04 / 2021 Malek shoots a td and eats a knee for it, still gets him down slightly but loof wrestles to his feet, gets taken down again. malekpour lands in side control, loof wrestles up again but malekpour drags mat returns him and lands in wide control. gets around to the back, lands some strikes, loof continues to get up and malekpour wrestles him down again. His wrestling is actually really good. ... Read moreShow less
