His strongest asset is definitely his grappling. His wrestling seems pretty good but his striking defense is a big concern Lorram Esteves vs. Gabe Macario - 2024-03-24 patient striking, nice kicks and throws with bad intention. Mixes it up to the body well and has good timing. However, he leads with his cross very often and rarely uses his jab. Also he throws naked leg kicks and when his opponent attacks he has no movement, rather he stands in place and throws some counter hooks. Has showed some solid wrestling. Gets uncomfortable when his opponent traps him on the cage, he threw some wild hooks to get off the cage. Could have solid top control, but i cant tell if his opponent is just bad at getting to his feet. has good wrist control when his opponent tries to build a base though. Gets in on a double leg, opponent gets on a deep guillotine but he stays patient and is able to defend. His opponent tries to take him down and he gets a guillotine of his own. His opponent was a can. Lorram Esteves vs. Shakeem Richardson - Aug / 21 / 2022 Ivy attempts a takedown to start round 1 but esteves defends well. Manages to get a really nice body lock takedown and instantly takes the back of ivy. Has a RNC in very very deep but ivy stays patient and escapes. Ivy escapes 2 more deep RNCs, but it unbothered. esteves has the body lock in. controls ivy for a bit but he ends up escaping and striking. ivy peicing him up on the feet and esteves panic shoots a single leg. Ivy defends well and peices him up some more on the cage. esteves is really tired and starts round 2 getting peiced up. I think ivy exposed his striking here. this is the first time hes fought a good opponent and his striking defense is really bad. Ends up getting a body lock takedown and gets on the back again, ivy gives mount and gets to his knees, esteves threatens a gilly and gets back to the back. ivy defends and gets on top, esteves threatens a armbar. ivy shoots a td and esteves jumps gilly.esteves may have a bad gas tank but to be fair this is a high pace fight and he almost had a finish multiple times in round 1 so he may have adrenaline dumped. ivy gets on his back and threatens a deep rnc but esteves defends well. ivy on top to end the round and esteves is gassed. round 3 pretty much goes the same way, ivy peices him up on the feet, gets a takedown and wins from top. esteves threatened an armbar at one point but asside from that just got controlled. ...
